Truth as Prime Information

Core Thesis

Truth = prime. Irreducible, from outside the system, cannot be faked or constructed from lesser parts.

Lie = composite disguised as prime. Constructed, eventually factorisable — once you find the factors, the deception collapses.

The Logic

Why Truth is Prime

A true statement is irreducible — it doesn’t decompose into simpler truths that combine to “make” it true
Truth arrives from outside the system (empirical observation, mathematical proof, direct experience)
You cannot CONSTRUCT a truth from non-truths — just as you cannot multiply composites to get a prime
Truth is self-evident once seen — like a prime, it just IS

Why Lies are Composite

A lie is always built from pieces — it has structure, joins, seams
With enough effort, any lie can be factored back into its components
Lies require maintenance (keeping the composite structure coherent)
Complex lies are deeper composites — more factors, more fragile, more factorisable

Why Fake Primes Corrupt Everything

Rational decisions require prime inputs — genuine, irreducible information
If you feed a fake prime (a lie disguised as irreducible truth) into a system, EVERY composite built on it is corrupted
The corruption propagates upward through all derived structures
This is why institutions built on foundational lies eventually collapse — the prime layer was fake

Connection to The Shedding

The “supernatural stack” from The Shedding places truth at the BASE:

truth → religion → culture → politics → law → economics → technology

Truth is the prime layer. Everything above it is composite — built from and dependent on the truth layer. When the truth layer is corrupted (fake primes inserted), the entire stack above it becomes unstable.

Religion = first composite (truth × narrative)
Culture = second-order composite (religion × practice)
Technology = highest composite (most derived, most dependent on all layers below)

Hallucination = generating composites with no prime foundation
Grounding = ensuring prime inputs (real data, verified facts)

Laws built on true premises = stable (prime foundation)
Laws built on ideology = fragile (composite disguised as prime)
“You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free” = primes liberate, composites constrain
